Advanced Protective Packaging

ADVANCED began in 1987 in Manchester and was began by the present Managing Director, Brian Garsden. The firm originally concentrated on making simple polystyrene pads in huge volumes. As time went by the firm acquired more skills (and more expensive equipment! And started to specialise in sophisticated protective packaging, delivering more cost-effective designs. In 1999 we acquired P. K. Sanders Ltd, located in Southend, when the founders of the firm retired. The firm traced its roots back to 1959 when it was established in Walthamstow, East London. It began by using polystyrene for display and gradually got involved in packaging and insulation through the years.
