Community Foundations For Greater Manchester

The Community Foundation is a community of donors dedicated to improving the quality of life and helping to build stronger communities across Greater Manchester. Since the Foundation started in 1989, over J20 million has been distributed to over 8, 000 community groups and projects, changing the lives of many people in Greater Manchester. The Foundation represents a new generation of social business, accountable, transparent, creative and active in engaging committed donors and matching them with areas of genuine concern. This is done in a manner that improves, develops and supports Greater Manchester's many diverse charity, voluntary and community organisations.
